How to Apply For Switzerland Scholarship With Swiss Foundation Scholarships

Swiss Foundation Scholarships offers students and postgraduates learning opportunities complementary to their studies, an individual mentoring and guidance scheme as well as financial support and diverse networking opportunities. At the moment, roughly 740 students and postgraduates benefit from summer schools, study trips and scholarships as well as exchange and mentoring offers from the Swiss Study Foundation.

In a video, beneficiaries talk about their experiences with the Swiss Study Foundation:

Subtitles in all national languages can be switched on at the bottom right of the video at “CC”.

More so, do note that Swiss Foundation Scholarships support program is aimed toward Swiss nationals or foreign students, who are studying in Switzerland. As a Swiss institution, Swiss Foundation Scholarships expect that its students speak at least two national languages, as a general rule German and French. This is why the English website for the scholarship is reduced in content for more of German and French contents; you can find the full information on its German or French website Here.

The Swiss Study Foundation is principally a network for nonmaterial encouragement. Only a fraction of SFS students benefit from financial support. Only students who have successfully passed the selection procedure for admission to the Swiss Study Foundation are allowed to submit grant proposals.* Interest in financial aid or financial needs are not sufficient reasons for being admitted to its program. Please make sure that you fulfill the requirements and are interested in participating at their events as well as in their network.
