Mikel Arteta could rekindle his training plan with Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal, as the Manchester City star is nearing a £45million switch to the Emirates this summer.

The Brazilian is set to travel to London on Tuesday to complete his medical, before joining up with his new team-mates for Arsenal’s pre-season that gets underway in July. It will be unfamiliar surroundings for Jesus, who has been in Manchester since 2017, but he will be reunited with Mikel Arteta.Jesus has moved to join up with Arteta after the Spaniard formed a close relationship while he was Pep Guardiola ‘s assistant at City.
