Liverpool make Dembele offer
Liverpool may claim that their summer spending is over but the Reds have been linked with a move for Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele since the January transfer window, and now a report has revealed that Jurgen Klopp’s side have ‘made an offer’ for the Frenchman.
According to Spanish news outlet Sport, via Paisley Gates, Liverpool are one of five clubs to make an offer to sign Dembele as a free agent, with his contract situation at the Camp Nou still yet to be resolved following the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
The Catalan club remain hopeful of keeping hold of the forward, despite his disappointing return in Spain since joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for €105 million plus a reported €40 million in add-ons, scoring 32 goals in 150 games in all competitions.
